Because they have been growing WITH the books and to me their change is not represented enough. Also they never mention a haircut. Ever. So I figure their hair just keeps on getting loooonger and loooonger with each book- except of course for little Annabeth at age 7, whom I expect to have had at least 2 until we meet her in TLT

I also included a 16y/o version of Nico, just cos I needed one uwu

I realized that I've never actually made a study of the characters, and that's why I always drew them differently. So all these are the result of that "study" about how I really imagine them, when I'm reading. well, kind of, anyway.

The numbers in the bubbles are the age.
