How do you do the edge effect? I assume it's done in photoshop?

It;s done in PaintDotNet. Blender's compositor lags too much on my computer. :V

Well, it's a few steps. I duplicate the image, put it on it's own layer, use the crystal-ize filter on it, then stitch, little bit of blur, and that's kinda it. Sometimes I mess with it's opacity, depending on how strong I want the effect to look.

The detail is very nice, especially in the jacket. But I couldn't help but notice that some of the orange parts of his fur look like somewhat plastic-like.
