It's funny, 'cos one of my best friends has a dog called Sable, and another has a dog called Buffy. I knew buffy was pretty common, but I've only ever come across two other sables.

I made myself a set of 30 high-res splatter brushes a while back by breaking fountain pens on posterboard, and scanning it. I use that brush set for all my splatter effects.
