Not only does the metal contrast brilliantly with the grass behind, but the reflection not only in the perfect position, but it also doesn't make the picture too bright. An impressive feat!

Now that right there, thats a REAL slide, not one of those new-fangled plastic things. The best is when there at a really REALLY steep slope and its summer so your legs STICK.

This one is only a couple feet long. There's one (might not be there anymore) at Cascade park that's hundreds of feet long. Grab some wax paper and go.

Haha! How fun! I really like the park in the background. Reminds me of going there as a child and sliding and swinging and all that great stuff I rarely get the opportunity to enjoy at present. Great shot.

omg, it looks hot. I can actually feel the skin on the back of my legs getting stuck to the metal... I remember those things at school always being so hot during recess. It's like "yeay, fun slide!" and then red legs for the rest of the day.
I like the net in the background. Really adds to the elementary school memories you've thrown me into with this picture.

Urg~! Nice photo but I hate those slides. Long ago while I was a kid my mom use to take me to the park at mid-day, and when I slide down those slides it's like having your ass sizzled on a frying pan. Definitely not one of the most memorable memory of childhood.

I know its snows, but does it rain...or better yet are there any overcast/ windy days?
I like this concept, although the composition leans abit too far to the right for my liking.
Also the light coming into shot from the top is troubling.
