Very, scary. i hate mcdonalds ads aimed at children. an added scaryness to it is that it reminds me of pennywise the clown from steven king's 'it'.

I don't understand this animosity towards Mcdonalds. If someone wants to eat it, they will eat it. Mcdonalds is famous and widespread because it TASTES good, thats why people buy their food. Blame the people who eat it then, don't blame the company of Mcdonalds for just having good business.

iยดm looking at larger social issues like predatory marketing towards children, and social attitudes that will break down what life is supposed to be and mean. also the state of mcjobs, our college graduates are working at starbucks because high ups look out for their own (which is natural), and outsource whatever they can to maximize profit.

Thats free-market economics for you. Aggressive marketing towards target consumers is the name of the game. Its not the job of the government to decide what a company can and can't do in regards to accumulating a market consumer base nor is it the company or corporation's job to decide what is wholesome or suitable for the consumers either. If Children are being marketed towards by Mcdonalds, it should be the parents who should shelter them from it if it is their judgement that such products or business are harmful.
Businesses compete, thats natural and its actually healthier for the economy and society as a whole when businesses, and consumers can make their own decisions. Consumers make the decisions, they are the people that cause businesses to grow and spread their influence, as it should be. I don't see anything wrong with it.

my business is criticizing things i don't like, and i can make my decision to make fun of whatever i like. so... what's your point?

My point is that even though you can protest and criticize what you want, if you're trying to make a political statement, it doesn't serve your message to unfairly attack something without putting the whole situation into context. Thats called misinformation.
Especially when you make wild claims like "iยดm looking at larger social issues like predatory marketing towards children, and social attitudes that will break down what life is supposed to be and mean."
Now look, I think your point is wellfounded and your art is interesting, I'm just giving you advice, don't follow the crowd, there are 1000s of people that criticize big companies like Mcdonalds in their art, but 99.99% of them don't know WTF they are talking about and only repeat what they hear from Michael Moore (hes one to talk) and other ultra-liberal propagandists.

ha ha, keep this in mind pal. i posted a 20 minute drawing i did at work while i was waiting for the network guy to troubleshoot my creative suite issues. basically, i can't believe in any politics because they are all systems of symbols built upon authentic life experiences. there is no such thing as politics. so calling something ultra-liberal or reactionary is pretty much a waste.
