OK I didn't mean for this to be any type of specific species of hawk, it was just something I made to pass the time. I spent a few hours drawing it (in pencil), scanning it, and putting it together in photoshop. I scanned some wrinkled paper too so I could add some texture to the background. (I dodn't crumble up the original drawing, don't worry!

wow, I love the details in this. You truly are talented, and have a great sense of tone.
Careful when using lighting effects in photoshop though. Filters in photoshop should not be made obvious. Subtle effects often work better. Nice work though. Sometimes, that filter can destroy details in your work, so be careful. It hasn't really done that for this piece. Good work!
I'd love to see the original scan too!
