A little collage I whipped up in my brain after watching the episode with the dog Black 'n' White. (Or..Checkers in English)(Don't know if he came up with a different name later. Haven't gotten that far. >_> I don't need spoilers either!)
So I have this collage here of what Ryoga dreams with the assistance of his new companion. Here's to hoping he doubles as a rescue dog and keeps Ryoga in track from getting lost.
...but what fun would that be? XD
So of course, in Ryoga's mind, Akane would be reading his letters with a pacing heart. While, he read her letters of love in return.
...silly Ryoga. His imagination is so vast. <3
BTW: For all you detail watchers out there, the lettering on Akane's letter mean absolutely nothing. It's just a mixture of symbols. I have no idea what they're even saying. o_O;
EDIT: Holy crap..I was looking at this picture...and thought it would make an awesome clock. O_O; Discuss?

This one is actually in Season 7. It's one of the last episodes, too. (Finally getting to the end. *sniffle*)
Yeah, the dog brought her a letter and he thought it was her reply. Which it was, but he was silly and forgot to put his name on the original letter. So her reply went off to a "Mr. Unknown" XD

Ah... I need to start watching them again some time. I think some site had most of them at one point, and I put off watching them because they weren't finished loading them all, but I think the last time I saw they did have them all again. *shrug* I know I got a little bored of them once they became somewhat 'self-contained', and had few episodic-plot-archs left it seemed, but I should try again.

Lucky for me, my partner is a pirate. lmao He managed to get a torrent with all of them. So I've been very very fortunate. Otherwise, I don't know where I'd look. Youtube used to be the place to see anime, but they're so locked tight anymore when it comes to episodes and stuff. X_x;
Season 5 and 6 REALLY dragged on for me. Like you said..no plots or anything going on..just isolated episodes that had nothing to do with anything.
The first two seasons and season 7 so far have been my faves. 7 because you get a special-ish sorta episode for everyone it seems as they wrap up. There's one with Genma I still wanna capture in a picture at some point. Cause..Genma is all sorts of funny. XD

Ah, well, I just found a site that has them on various places, including Veoh, so I just stream them myself. I wonder if it'd be okay to skip the rest of 5 and maybe even all of 6 then, because I know I just wasn't enjoying most of it, and I don't want to need to force myself through it all. (I did kind of like the iron-corset series in 5 though, so I dunno.) But yeah, I mostly just like season 1 and 2, and a little bit of 3, but I do want to finally finish at least the seventh season some day.

Every once in a while you find a gem in those two seasons. But it comes and goes. So hunting for just the right one may turn out futile. XD
The iron corset episode was pretty good. You get to see Ranma in desperation mode when he REALLY has to accomplish something that seems almost impossible. XD But somehow he finds a way through, huh?
I don't like forcing myself through shows either. That's why re-watching Sailor Moon was so painful. I had to fast forward through so much to get to the good stuff. And then that just takes away from the experience. v_v;

I know.. at one time, I got all of Stars, watched it, decided I should go through everything again. Made it up to the S-series which I never watched all the way through, so it was good to see those, but I juuuuust couldn't get past Super S at all. Reminds me exactly of what happened to Ranma 5 & 6, but shorter, yet tougher to get through...so I've kinda written it off as 'the filler episode...season'.

Super S was suuuuch a bomb. But apparently it's what the people had hoped for. But ended up not getting. (Since Chibiusa and her many forms were voted best Sailor. How I'll NEVER know..)

I'm down to the final two episodes. (At least..if my collection is correct) And I think I've seen all the OVAs. What's the last OVA about? Or at least it's title? (I don't know if I have it or have seen it. XD)

Yeah, that was Movie 1. Movie 1 is horrible. It only has one good joke in it, and about three good scenes in all. Movie 2 (beach movie) is WAY better. The last OVA is actually Movie 3, which was a TV release as I understand it. I forget the name, but it had Pheonix in the title somewhere I think. The last two episodes, huh? Season 7. Good season, and the last two episodes are really good! I think they are the only two part episode outside of the OVAs. Have you read the manga?

I know there was a legendary pheonix one..but it wasn't a two parter. My partner mentioned something about a two part OVA actually being a movie. Maybe Re-awakening memories?
And no, haven't read the manga. I -want- to, once I get the chance, though!

I know, right? Well, this might have been a one parter. I don't remember for sure. There were several two part OVAs but none of them were movies that I'm aware of, and the Ryugunzawa one was just a regular two part ep. (can't believe I almost forgot that one!) Be sure to check out the new OVA if you can. There's no official Dub or Sub for it, and it's pretty expensive, but it's totally worth it. Incense of Spring Sleep. Oh, and heads up on some other happy news for you. The manga goes further than the show did. They never finished animating the whole thing.

HA! Like I'd tell! I actually know the answer to that too, but I haven't read most of the manga. I got hit with spoilers. T_T lol As for Incense of Spring Sleep, I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. It JUST came out a couple months ago, as a special release along with 1 new Inu Yasha, and 1 Urusei Yatsura. It's only just gone up for seperate sale on blue ray. BTW, ever heard of the Rumic World Messageboards? You sound like someone who would love it over there...

So it was just released a few months ago? Sheesh! That makes me sorta happy, ya know? Cause..I see nothing from Sailor Moon anymore. And well..Ranma 1/2 is as vintage as it gets. To know that there's still stuff being put out there makes me happy. <3

Well, the way the powers that be are playing it, it looks to me like it was intended as a one shot deal, but I know there is a MASSIVE push from the fans for new stuff, and the general concensus seems to be that if they get people to pay the gigantic prices to buy this one, it might be worth it to them to finish the show. Sad thing is that the show is old enough that the original casts are starting to die off. One of the Japanese actors is dead I think (Sasuke?), and the guy who played Genma in the Dubs died this year. So if they're gonna finish it off right, it's gotta be fast. But still, at least there is renewed hope! And of course, youtube has a number of special episodes and music videos never released in the US. Anyways, I'll note you a link to RumicWorld soon as I have a chance. Great site!

Yeah, I can stand both versions, though I prefer English for ease of watching. It's sad though, Genma's voice was great! And he played a couple other characters too.
