North Koreans brig down this symbol of lie and oppression, you are slaves of the Kim dynasty and you had suffered enough from torture, terror, slavery and hunger. Juche is a lie.

There is no "Kim dynasty". This isn't a symbol of lies and oppression. This is a symbol of workers harmony.

How do u know that? Why are there North Korea defectors and why do all say negative things about the country and the leadership? U go there and see the "peoples' paradise"!

Beacause that's what enforced. You have people with different strengths that contribute to the nation as a whole. You have the intellectuals (not saying the other classes are mentally inferior) that are in the government, the farmers to produce the agriculture (which can only feed so many along with the ridiculous amount of sanctions & embargos against them), and the workers who deal with industry. Why they say that is because they didn't have the "good life" in the DPRK and the leadership can actually have the option to lead. It's nowhere near as terrible as media makes it.

There i no agriculture, people can\t even plant anything to eat or sell because the government which is omnipresent and highly centralled don't allows them too. There are no farms because the government focuses more nukes, army and personality cult rather than fixing the economy and feeding its starving slaves called people of north korea. Interesting how a guy called EMPEROR-Sama with the avatarof a mad nazi defends a communist regime. Its just a douch defending dictatorships, thats what you are.

They have stores, but they don't have a lot to give out since millions already live in Pyongyang. There are farms or else there's be no guy holding a sickle on that statue. North Korea makes nuclear arms to not become a target nation, their always in the minset of there will be war at some point even thought their not aggressors, and a "cult" is rather an elaborate way to give praise to people who've been around before the 1950's when the Korean war started. And they can't fix their economy because of the many sanctions and embargos placed upon them so they mainly have relations with China, Vietnam, and parts of the Middle East which is quite slim.
And get some facts straight and actually look up what a swastika is without the use of google images and actually research what it is. My name on DA is unapplicable to this subject. And The Major isn't a Nazi, but a cyborg.

But seriously now, some communist ideas are tempting and appear social and just. But North Korea is one fucked up place. Their prison camps are just as bad as Germany's concentration camps were. And the few thousand working in the regime can do whatever they want, abuse their people and show, that they do the exact opposite of what theyir supposed to preach. The poor people of North Korea actually believe everything they are told and most of them are very kind and loving, although they have so little. They deserve a better life, maybe even under Juche ideas, but the corrupt regime underย ๊น์ ์ is with no doubt a huge arrogant pile of shit that enjoys a nice lifestyle, lets their people work to their deaths and makes money exporting workers and doing massive insurance fraud.

I don't see it as a total failure, but it's not perfect (like the rest of the Earth).
The camps are for instances of reform or life sentences depending on the charges. I don't agree with the mass family punishment, but it isn't illogical as to why it's done.
The few thousand people are seen as trustworthy, but they aren't above the law in no way. As for abuse, I assume you mean the "forced" starvation of the people. In that defense, they cannot simply import whatever they want do to sanctions (best example being their ski resort, but being unable to purchase equipment for it).
The people aren't "brainwashed" and believe what they're told 100% of the time.
I haven't seen anything to admire in Kim Jong-Un yet (else can be said for Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il, who aren't perceived as gods). They export workers for income, but it may be small considering if they're paid in the extremely low value North Korean Won or in Euro's or other currency.ย
The finances belonging to the Kim family (not dynasty) are likely from savings. Especially in the case of Kim Il-Sung who was the North Korean Prime Minister (and likely making a decent salary from the USSR and likely still making a decent salary amid prosperous times) until his election as President in 1972. These likely were received by Kim Jong-Il (along with his decent salary and is one of the main causes there are multiple chains of prisons in the nation since he was taking more power after being named successor). And due to his environment of being around high class, it possibly leads to him spending large amounts of money on personal vehicles, alcohol, and housing in different locations (to house his love affairs and to possibly have a residence to retire to after going to a specific county/district of North Korea being as his official residence is near Pyongyang).
Do I think the nation should repeat Romania and Libya? No.ย
I do think that the more that's put into the North (investment (especially in their internally unfinished hotel) ,etc.), the more prosperous it will become over time. This can then lead o an equal unification of Korea with it's respective systems (any other way would be hostile takeover).

Hi, Emperor-sama, thank you for your comment
I appreciate that you don't simply ignore the facts and worship NK the way many populist communists/ socialists on the internet do. I believe we're very much on the same boat speaking about the regime. But I find it very disturbing, that you takj about NK not being perfect like the rest of the Earth and the camps only having some minor negative aspects.ย
After the Cold War, i believe, the world got more and more peaceful. Globalisation let us share ideas worldwide and everyone of us who uses the internet gets to know all kinds of different people from all kinds of places on earth. I'm from Germany for example and you're from the US. Two countries that knew so little of each other, that Germans could become extremely nationalist and spread death and hate to all "races" not "german". Today, we listen to american music, more than to german music and young people here appreciate other cultures vice versa. All i want to say with that is, that our world is heading to becoming a better place, corruption shrinking and living standards rising everywhere on the planet (even though the system still is exploiting third world countries)
Now in NK, not much has changed over the last years, due to total isolation and numerous sanctions (which i fully agree with) and Socialist ideas definetly need to find their influence on the worlds economy.
But man. Massive starvations while the BELOVED Regime enyos multi million dollar whiskey and other luxury goods? ย Death penalty? No! PUBLIC HANGINGS? Holy Shit no! Guards being able to fuck inmates and kill inmates as they wish? No! Regime members being able to put citizens into prison camps for rolling a cigarette using the states newspaper as paper? No!Concentration camps like there were in Germany? No!
The confirmed, popular sources suffice. "Escape from Camp 14", Joseph Kim's story and all the reports that are out there from NK refugees. They just make me start to cry man.
NK has the biggest humanitarian problems in the world today, as far as i am concerned. And if you dropped the sanctions and pumped money into the Country, it would go 100% into theย inhumane, psychopathicย Regime's ย hands and rather worsen the situation for the people.

In looking back on "expensive luxury" it's the fact it's mostly in bulk purchase that results in high spending every time they run low or out. Kim Jong-Il (who is wrongly criticized in this regard due to a lack of insight) "enjoyed" high class drinks and food because that's what he's been used to from likely back in the 70's to now. The "regime" as you call it is far from psychopathic just like their 3 leaders (wheres the proof of mental disorder that isn't mud slinging opinion). They do care for the people, but there is little that can be done due to the stacking of sanctions which only makes the people the "regime" can't support increase in number, thus making full recovery of their 1990's famine delayed along with their low international currency value. The "camps" are essentially a much harsher Chinese version that is divided into "sentence and release" and "life sentence with 3 generation of your family (or friends from guilt by association) to avoid the possibility of a anti government seed". And now in the situation of Kim Jong-Un he's trying to move away from Songun, but the elder members can go against him in their factions. The money would likely go to finishing their Ski Lift along with with massive incomplete hotel (exterior is complete, but not interior) and a few nuclear power reactors for electricity.

After many years, North korea still alive, Thank to their people that even somebody see they are bad but the truth is they are like use and we must stop embargo it product and live in peace we them. If we lift it embargo then the economy of North Korea is stable and they can feed their people. That is why that North Korea is mad to US not to South part because the americans look hostility toward NK even the coldwar is end and they want the southern part to be a military base to set other colony in asia. The solution is the americans must out in asia. " Asia is for Asians Not for Imperialist" Now comrade understand this " Without You, No Motherland"

Hey! shut your dirty mouth you are being rude. Heres the facts why the North koreans starves:
1. Sanctions hold by the UN lead to economic down fall and starvation.
2. Famines and old agricultural technology.
3. Like you being hate to others makes people despairs with bad languages.
Why nuke?
1. They remain in their cold blooded pass under the imperialist lead to defend itself.
2. More Sanction makes anger and suffering.
3. End this madness and fooling around with fake viewings.
4. And keep your dirty mouth shut.
I don't want to start a fight with your. You just over retarded and give a rest will you? And how the NK fix their economy if there sanctions like Iran? They try to fix the economy but the got even more sanctions and embargo.

Saint-Tepes In reply to Kiev-45 [2013-06-18 16:04:21 +0000 UTC]
Juche is suppose to make NK an autarchy, a state that relies on itself to survive, so sanctions and embargoes isn't suppose to effect the country, there are sanctions because Nk refuses to stop oppressing its people and to reform itself, it makes nukes and continuously without shame to break international laws, they were suppose to fix their economy a long a go but instead they became isolationist and even more totalitarian, unlike China who made reforms since the end of the 70s and USSR who started some reforms but crumbled because the regime was too old and inefficient and the reforms came in the wrong moment. North Korea did nothing to save their people for the famine from 1994-1998, millions died while Kim Jong Il stuffed his fat ass and did nothing but build an absurd and exaggerated personality cult were he is reffed to as a supernatural perfect hero and beloved leader, who doesn't defecate, who controls the weather and other bullshit so people can love him and not find him responsible for his incompetence during the famine. Democracy, freedom and free market are the answer just like in the rest of the world, but freedom and reform will bring the end to the totalitarian psychotic hereditary dictatorship of the Kim dynasty.
