After few beers I decided to do some experiments. The result is this Boeing F 18C Super Hornet. The thing is that I didn't use any ink this time, and if you browse my gallery you can see that I use ink always. So this is like "a new thing", also because most of my works are totally or almost black and white, but this is totally colored. Blah blah blah just look at it and then say "Looks like crap to me".It took only one hour to paint this. It takes usually a couple of days to draw something, so this one is more of a "speed painting" or something, nevermind.
Anyway, this was just an experiment like I said so I really don't care if you don't like it.

Actually, there are two-seater F-18s; you just got the designation letter off.
From Wikipedia:
The F/A-18C is the single-seat variant and the F/A-18D is the two-seat variant. The D-model can be configured for training or as an all-weather strike craft. The "missionized" D model's rear seat is configured for a Marine Corps Naval Flight Officer who functions as a Weapons and Sensors Officer to assist in operating the weapons systems. The F/A-18D is primarily operated by the U.S. Marine Corps in the night attack and FAC(A) (Forward Air Controller (Airborne)) roles.
If 's scene is accurate, it's likely Redcom was doing reconnaissance... which would be the most likely situation to run into an Unidentified Flying Pony.

Acually Identifying the aircraft as a Super Hornet, it would be a F/A-18F, aside from LEX details being off, it is a good piece.. great story.

It appears to be a cyan blue pegasus with rainbows trailing behind it, her, hell I don't know! Wait I have activity, she's flying closer to us and coming along side!

Rainbow Dash and jets, nothing better XD Great artwork, looks like oil painting, love the background with the horizon and the mix of clouds are great!
One error, the F/A-18C is a SINGLE-seat fighter (however, the F/A-18D is a two-seat fighter and is mostly used by the Marine Corps now-a-days) so what you drew was good and authentic... not to mention 20% cooler LOL

I think this style looks great! The only thing that seems a little out of place is the way RD's mane and tail is drawn.

This drawing is awesome, I especially like how Rainbow Dash is designed and looks against the clouds.

I am actually not sure. I just googled Boeing F 18C and checked some photos. It might be that I wasn't attentive enough and took a wrong picture. So this might not be Boeing F 18C after all. I don't know, sorry

Well, there is actually no deeper meaning or anything. I was just drinking a little and thinking what I should paint, and I have this Boeing poster on my wall. I just picked the coolest one and decided to paint it : D
