I don't know it by that name, we call it the "Fried Egg" flower.
It is named a Matilija Poppy I believe, from Northern Mexico to
Central California. Our library here in Sonoma Co. California has
these growing around the building and parking lot.
Here's another image of the same kind of flower that I took last
year across the street from my apartment, at Sonoma State University. These blossoms looked as if they were in the ballet.

There are a lot of poppies; this one just reminded me of the ones we get at home. ^^
They must be very pretty against the library. ^^
