You know that part in Eagle Strike where Alex finds out Yassen bombed his girlfriends house and he's so pissed he breaks into his boat, finds a gun and almost shoots him? In the book Yassen was asleep in bed and Alex metaphorically caught him with his pants down so I drew him in bed literally caught with his pants down. Weeee let's traumatize Alex. Yassen's kill speech scene means a lot more to me after reading Russian Roulette. Yassen was speaking from experience. A small part of himself died when he killed someone and Alex reminds him of that small part he lost and he's giving one of those vague often misinterpreted warnings.
