"Сold morning" or "The most wonderful thing on the surface"so..this is it...is it the surface?
For any dwarf it is a very emotive and exciting moment and to do the first step to new life it can be really very difficult...even for brave dwarfs))

Stunning!! The surface looks exciting and beautiful and frightening and foreign all at once, which is probably how any dwarf would feel when leaving for the first time. I love this! You really have a gift for color and light!

the concept is also wonderful-- i always wondered why my dwarven PCs were not given more opportunities to emote how different the surface was. instant favorite.

You captured this moment beautifully! I can imagine the look on her face. As she steps out into the open air for the first time and sees the world before her. I don't know how you thought to do it, but I think having the perspective of the piece placed behind the characters, looking outward, is genius. It helps to illustrate how important this is for the dwarven lady.

Как здорово получилось...Картину прямо таки ощущаешь всеми органами чуств. Видишь раскинувшуюся перед героями долину (могу ошибаться), чувствуешь пронизывающий горный ветер и едва заметное тепло от утреннего солнца.
Хорошая находка поставить героев спинами к нам. Мне кажется, работа произвела бы гораздо меньшее впечатление, если бы были видны их лица. Не было бы такой вживленности)))
