Description
You are many things Shy, a monster is not one of them. - SpikeUnlike her bodyguard (Spike), Shy has no control whatsoever of her Feral form. However she would sometimes enter a phase wherein she is stuck in an incomplete transformation while retaining control of her body. During this time she is forced to take a leave from work until the phase ends, never leaving her home out of fear that someone would find out about her secret.
Spike keeps her company during this time as her father, Discord, spends most of his time in his lab.
I was thinking of giving Spike multiple routes in this story. I kinda liked the idea of the character interacting with a few select love interests but not having to end up with any when the story ends.

Because, let's face it, if anyone knows what it's like having to live with a monster inside you, it's Spike. He has more control over the Dragon than Fluttershy has over the Bat but it still means that he has to choose his friends carefully and that he'll never reject someone with a similar curse (or blessing, depending on your point of view).

This is so sweet! Like the idea of interactions of potential love interests. It's why Tenchi Muyo was so great to watch. Everyone has that one girl they're rooting for in getting close to the main character!

Still routing for Twidash and Flutterbulk though. Twidash is very intersting due their jobs or in Twi's case hidden identity and Flutterbulk is adorable, and funny given how he tried to protect Shy while she surely is far stronger than he is. XD

Also, I for one is not crazy about the "multiple routes" thing, as I believe it would make the story as a whole less natural and interesting. I mean, it isn't a visual novel where the sole purpose and interest is to see the main character woo the harem of female ones, is it?

I prefer the old spike look, because it actually look like how I would imagine spike as a human. This spike just looks like some pallet swapped Clark Kent (superman's secret identity), and spike doesn't seem to be anything like superman. He just looks overall uncharacteristic of spike. Sorry if I offended you in any way.

Haha no worries, I actually think the same way after I looked at it again when I woke up. I tend to change the way they look in every art to see what will work. It looked great on sketch, now.... not so much.
