Yay! Finally I've drawn something worthwhile again. And it's Rarity...I haven't drawn her often yet.I don't really have much to say about this one, but I really like how it came out. Tried a few new things again as I'm still trying to find an own definite style. I think I'm getting close, though! This drawing was really fun to work on and I don't think I'll change the style much for my next drawing.
I spent about 6-7 hours on this I think. Actually it's more like 15, but that's because I tend to do get distracted way too fast! I might change the style of lineart a bit next time though, as that took the most time out of all. Just getting all those thicknesses and corners right was way too tedious.
Anyway, I hope you like it as much as I do, and I'll probably be back with more soon!

Pulchritude! I haven't heard that word in forever! I always thought it didn't sound like what it meant. I like the hair shading and effects in particular.

Looks fantastic, liking what you're doing with your style! I'm a little confused about the background though, looks like you've used the rainy Photoshop effect there.

About the background effect, I think it's called 'fibers,' and I never noticed it might look a bit like rain ^^ I guess it does though, you're the second one to ask me this now. It wasn't on purpose though, I just wanted to add some easy texture to the background.

My first thought was "whow". I like where you're going with your style, and you are right: Lineart takes most of the time.
Keep it up! I think there's something unique in your latest works that looks quite good should stay in there!
(Also I was working on a Rarity doodle as well... Dem coincidences.)

But thanks! I'm definitely liking the style I'm getting into now as well. I hope I can cut down the worktime of the lineart a bit though, without losing too much quality.
