my very first LK fanart, starting with Shenzi, the cheeky female hyena, as I think she would've looked like if she was a human...I think she turned out kinda trashy as a woman, but still with a cool attitude... and I love her hair-do....
Just watched The Lion King 1 1/2, where we got to know that her full name is Shenzi Marie Predatora Veldetta Jacquelina Hyena

Banzai: Oh, Scar, it's just you.
Shenzi: We were afraid it was somebody important.
Banzai: Yeah, you know, like Mufasa.
Shenzi: I just hear that name and I shudder.
Banzai: Mufasa!
Shenzi: Ooooh! *shudder* Do it again!
Shenzi: And it tingles me!
The hyenas are just pure brilliance... well; the whole movie is brilliant, of course...

The hyena's are a matriarchal. So the females are the leaders so it makes sense that Shenzi is a female....

allright: I give up! you've got some good points there....
But I still think it would've make evertyhing weird if Shenzi and Banzai were together... and about Ted; I think both Shenzi & Banzai has a sort of protective relation to him, he MUST be the youngest!
And despite what the fanfiction suggest, Nuka would've been perfect match for her, someone to control her wild lifestyle XD

WHAT?!! Older brother?! There's obvious flirtation between them in the movie. Plus, ever hear the song "Chow Down"? It PROVES they're not related. (How'd you find out Ed is a year younger than her? I think he might be a few months older).

Kinda looks like if Shego had a cousin.
Personally though, I would've pictured Shenzi to be the one with long hair and Nala to be the one with short hair; since Shenzi's bangs are so long and Nala bascially has nothing up there to show.
