The quote in your description is so familiar... but I can't put my finger on it. I really like it
What I like about this combination is how well balanced it is. There is darkness and light; you're holding him and he's holding you.
I could say the same thing about the darker photo being more grainy than the lighter and how that balances... but in some ways I wish both had the same amount of grain.
But regardless - I really like this set!

One thing though, was the noise or "scratchiness" intentional? I think it would look much better if it was smoothed out, and let the lighting do the trick.
