It rather does, doesn't it? It's reffed from some random photo I found on the 'net, but I'm pretty sure it isn't you - just goes so show how utterly random coincidence is.

Effects? Do you mean photoshop-effects? In that case, none at all.
This is all traditional - oil-paints and paintbrush, dont'cha know.

Oh, wow. I really like this. Gorgeous shading, and he's got a lot of expression.

Thanks! Thank the ref-photo for the expression, though - can't take any credit for it, since the only thing I really changed was his clothing and then I simplified some shadows.

The way his hair comes around his face is very cool. The way you did the shading with gray tones also really adds a nice affect. And the expression- itβs almost humorously evil~ Nice work! :3

Thanks!
Thing is, he ain't supposed to be evil - that's better left up to his partner in crime, Charon. But, well, maybe he was feeling particularly tricky that day or something.

Well then, maybe it was more of a "ha-ha I know something you donβt know and I'm going to smile about it" expression. X3

Thanks! This is the first time I've used oil-paints outside of a school-assignment, and I'm actually quite proud of the results.
