Reffed from a photograph - can't remember where I found it though. Somewhere along the way, it morphed into one of my original characters, Sabriel, though without his usual tidy necktie.1 hour, or thereabouts

It rather does, doesn't it? It's reffed from some random photo I found on the 'net, but I'm pretty sure it isn't you - just goes so show how utterly random coincidence is.

Effects? Do you mean photoshop-effects? In that case, none at all.
This is all traditional - oil-paints and paintbrush, dont'cha know.

Thanks! Thank the ref-photo for the expression, though - can't take any credit for it, since the only thing I really changed was his clothing and then I simplified some shadows.

The way his hair comes around his face is very cool. The way you did the shading with gray tones also really adds a nice affect. And the expression- itβs almost humorously evil~ Nice work! :3
