Yamato (大和) was the lead ship of her class of battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) shortly before World War II. She and her sister ship, Musashi, were the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed, displacing nearly 72,000 tonnes (71,000 long tons) at full load and armed with nine 46 cm (18.1 in) Type 94 main guns, which were the largest guns ever mounted on a warship.

The events following the war, Yamato nevered succeed on becoming a grounded ship using her guns to destroy the US fleet for the invasion of Okinawa. She would be on Tokyo during her remaining events and which after the surrender of Japan, she would be handed over but the USN following it being one of the few examples of the largest battleship in exists.

She would be used as a testing ship throught the 50s and the handed back to Japan by 1962 following a major refits, she would join up with US Marines on the northern attacks at vietnam as her large Type 94 main guns wrecken the jungles in vietnam and Yamato and New Jesery would be the only battleship to par take on the Vientam war.

By the 1980s Major refits permitted them into the modern era, there Large size was given enough to give more fits then Iowa-class given Rim-66 GMLs 22 lunchers and Tomohawk launchers for the Operation Desert shield, alongside the Four Iowas Japan would bring the ship into the war as her powerful guns destroy many Iraqi bunkers with some her large Anti-Aircraft sweeps she was given the honour for saving USS Missouri following an event where the Ship had tech issues.

After the Invasion of Taiwan the Great transfere would lead to japan having her place into reserve but it wouldnt take too long for JN Yamato to return back to service to become the ICON of the Japanese New world Order.
