*throws a random crappily drawn beast design at your face and runs away like hell because she hates drawing feathers and this damn thing is nothing else but a pile of feathers armed with claws and teeth*I'm not sure why I'm posting this.
I really don't know.
Please don't ask about the name, I'm as clueless as you are.

I'm not sure why it sounds like you dislike the design. It may be... I don't know, "overused" or, perhaps, "simple" in that it's a pile of feathers? I disagree with both. I love the design, the color.
I think what got me... was me staring at the fluff... then going, "OH MY GOD! SKULL FACE!"

I totally feel bad saying this because I absolutely love it, but I totally see Ghibli's Howl in this. But only in the best way possible.

-shock- Read the book too - although it has nothing to do with this image. However, the book and movie are two very different stories, even though the characters are simmilar. But Ghibli/Miyazaki's version of Howl's Moving Castle is really fantastic. Plus, bird/monster Howl is downright awesome.

This reminds me a lot of Howl from Howl's Moving Castle when he's in bird form, especially when he walks in the one night and Sophie tries to talk to him... anyone else see that?
