Greetings, SmolSoviet ! Coming from ProjectComment and now it's time for me to comment back on one of your works!
Let me start by saying that as you could probably tell, I'm not used to seeing works like this. But what I will say is she does look quite attractive with her large eyes (always a foundation for "cute"), demure, modestly-sized and shaped mouth, and her tiny nostril(s). You've done well to emphasize the smoothness of her skin with the highlights and I always love seeing unique methods of shading. In this case, you use a pink tone to shade instead of a dark tone which would make her look saturated. This shading tone along with the light colors adds a bit of femininity and general cuteness to the work--the latter I'm super fond about! Along with a decent anatomy, as shown by the well-crafted hands, highly-emphasized breasts and rump, and the slick and smooth tail (for all three subjects), what's compelling about this piece is that there isn't anything too distracting in the background--always a plus with this kind of art.Β
Now's the time to unleash my inner pedant. Looking at the piece closely, the "hair" doesn't seem to resemble human-like hair as the texture appears shiny--almost metallic. Though, I'd argue if you added human-like hair to the shark, that would undermine how cute she looks. Another thing that feels off is her left hand. If you're going for a anthro shark, I'd suggest retouching the curve at the end of her arm. I see how positioning her hand like that adds to the cuteness, but it's quite unnatural and painful--at least for me when I try to imitate her. Another reason why this looks off is how the shark is facing slightly northeast from the camera while the arm appears to be facing most west than southwest like it should.
