for the record I would also just like to say that I saw the movie yesterday (May 07, 2008) and I posted EC on April 23rd, 2008. I want to do this because there's a major plot point in EC that is fairly similiar to one in HMC and I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. I doubt anyone will even notice, but this makes me feel better

I love the movie, although I have to say, I prefer the book. The only reason I read the book was because I saw the movei and liked it though, so I have to give credit. I like Howl in the book better, because not only is he from Wales (XD), but he thinks every girl he meets is the One. They go out, but he soon after loses complete interest.

I haven't read it. I thought about it but I heard that miyazaki made the movie so different from the book that the two aren't really all that relatable and that it's not worth it
