A cold and direct woman, Ryla has little tolerance for laziness, malingering, or slacking off. Her harsh demeanor has left her disliked by many, but Ryla has led more wrestlers into world champions than anyone else in the business. Going far above the expected scheduling and promo work of most managers, Ryla also takes an active role in her roster's training, doubling as their head coach.

Her reputation is such that training promotions and academies alike consider it a privilege and sign of coming fortune when she takes interest in one of their fighters. Most recently, the up-and-coming Jay Adarna at AWA caught her eye, to the point of Ryla dropping nearly her entire roster to focus solely on developing Jay into the 'greatest of all time'. This understandably magnified the already incredible hype for the rookie, as Ryla has turned even mediocre fighters into greats, and the world awaits eagerly to see what she can do with the extremely talented rookie.

Fueling Ryla's drive to create champions and her disdain for slackers, is her own former wrestling career. Not long ago, Ryla was herself a promising and ambitious fighter under her ringname "The Madomme" with her eyes on the belt. She had come from nothing to scratch and claw her way through obstacle after obstacle, with no trainers, coaches, or support. She had to train longer and harder than anyone else, even making her own gym out of the junk in the alley behind her apartment as a teen.

Her career came to a sudden end when a drunk driver T-boned Ryla's car, severely injuring her spine. After nearly a decade of surgeries and intense physical therapy, she was fully recovered, but too many years had passed for wrestling career to continue, so she took up coaching and managing instead. It's not uncommon for her roster to blame her borderline cruelty on jealousy or bitterness of her own career's premature ending.
