This is from our RP, although this bit hasn't happened yet. Matt is upset about the impending end of the world. Tabitha is usually the one prone to emotional outbursts but now he has to keep it together and calm Matt down. ;w;

I have to hold up my hand and admit that as soon as I had an inkling you were drawing me a birthday picture I really, really hoped it would be Matt/Tabitha. But I honestly thought that our interest in these two was too recent for that to be a possibility. IT IS VERY GOOD TO SEE THAT I WAS WRONG.
This scene just makes me gush and get excited for what's to come in our RP. As much as we might have started it with the possible intention of focusing more on Maxie & Archie, it does seem like Matt & Tabitha have become almost the emotional focal point of the RP. Maybe because it's pretty easy to sympathise with them and the situation we've created for them. I just look at these two babies and want everything to be all right for them.
Also, it always impresses me just how easily you pick up drawing different characters. Over the years (almost ten years now!) that we've known each other you've drawn so many different characters from so many different series and they always look fantastic. These two here definitely follow that trend. They look so on-model and adorable and just... look at how helpless they look! Even if Tabitha's trying to keep it together, he still looks so sad and I just want to hug him. Gaaaah, I want to be at this scene right now. But also at all the other scenes, too. I WANT TO HAVE EVERYTHING ALL AT ONCE AND I CAN'T SO I'LL JUST SIT HERE FLAILING ABOUT OVER FEELINGS INSTEAD.
Just thank you so, so much! These two are shaping up to be the wildest ride of anything we've ever RPed and I look forward to see where we're going next.

Sldkfddslkskdfsl I always try to think of something that probably nobody else will draw for you and I didn't think you were expecting Seamountshipping at all BUT I'M SO GLAD IT'S WHAT YOU WANTED ALL ALONG ;w;
I love these two and just want them to be happy and adorable together as well! I think what makes them so good is that while Archie and Maxie are being all stubborn about each other and preoccupied by their plans and generally too dumb about EVERYTHING, Matt and Tabitha are being honest and straightforward and trying to have a functional relationship. You've got to sympathise with the sensible ones when the things that go wrong aren't their own fault XD
Also noooo stopppp \(///Σ///)\ My range isn't that great, I'm just glad Matt and Tabitha turned out recognisable! They were fun to draw :3 They're so cute and I was going to give Matt tears as well but it would have been TOO SAD ;A; I can't wait for any scenes with them being adorable together <3

Haha, well it worked out both ways - not only was I hoping for it, but also no one else drew me Seamountshipping either. Though I think you're the only person who knows about the full extent of my love for it anyway.
That's exactly it, I think. Matt & Tabitha are two people trying to have a relationship while all this other shit is happening around them, so it's easy to sympathise with them. In contrast, while Maxie & Archie are still interesting, they're very much the ones bringing the shit onto everyone else - so it's harder to sympathise with them as much as go "well they kind of deserved all of this". I do love them just as much, but I think that their respective admins are probably the best way for us as the audience to look at what they're doing a lot of the time (except in the scenes where it's very definitely just Maxie & Archie for reasons 8D).
I don't blame you for not wanting to make Matt look too sad - I don't think I could bring myself to do that either. But shush, you're much more brilliant than me, both at Seamount drawing and RPing. :3

That's all true, and also Archie and Maxie are still too deeply in denial about each other XD Despite what they get up to when they're on their own 
Next time he'll have to be happy, otherwise the drawings will get too depressing XD

And Tabitha would be talking about something totally mundane, like "do you think this is dishwasher safe?" and Matt would be like "OMG TABI YOU'RE SO CUTE I CAN'T KEEP MY HANDS OFF YOU" and jump on him XD I love them so much ;w;

Pffft, that's beautiful! Poor Archie, thinking he's a rebel when actually he's just shagging Maxie a lot and sometimes Matt.
AWWWWWW THEY ARE THE CUTEST. After they both had some moments to show their thoughts on Mauville in our RP I think it'd be a nice idea for them to live there someday, when all this is over. And Matt will continually gush over Tabitha's cuteness, while Tabitha gets flustered and pretend-annoyed at the affection.

Well, since we've established that Matt tries dating other people possibly somewhat regularly it's probable that he's not putting all of his energy into Archie.
