Description It's concept art for a project I joined recently, Methrid: War for Tempus . It's supposed to be a knight in Transitional armour but I may have to replace that brigandine with a breastplate to make it look more "knightly". Drawing-wise, I really like the way this turned out.

This is a really brilliant piece. I like the design of the armour, it looks very English.

Thanks a lot! The designs were pretty much copied from historical references but I'm glad you like the combination!

Yep, he let me decide on the design but said he likes it. I think I'll still try out a version with breastplate if I don't get lazy.

The outfit is really nice and the reflection on the metal is very cool.
Only con about this is, that he looks a bit stiff.

I'm glad you like the reflections. I was afraid I'd have I'd gone a bit too wild with the white highlights.

I tried to make the legs, hips and feet give a relaxed impression but maybe I got something wrong then...

Well I think the stiffness is more in his upper body. His arms seem a bit unnatural. :S

Well, his left hand could look more relaxed if it held the shield nearer to the body but then it'd overshadow it even more... But perhaps the fact that the upper arms are positioned exactly in the same angle makes him look like he has something stuck in his armpits
