Both June (left) and Cindy (right) are very opposite in most ways. The only real similarities is that they’re both female and foxes, but on occasions, gaps are bridged and real conversations take place that can pull the gaps close and bond.

In this case, Cindy tends to be somewhat at odds with her parents. Her mom wants her to straighten up and not be a tomboy, but a presentable lady of sorts. Her dad is protective and tends to shelter her from learning more about her Hyperion connection. Both mean well, but it’s constricting and boring in the eyes of Cindy. The unruly and wild tomboy wants adventure, excitement and a shot at glory. Thankfully, this is where June comes in.

Now, June may not be an over the top, energy wielding, beast slaying warrior; but she does belong to a guild of sorts and has had a few run ins with real danger. Still learning her craft as an adventurer, she still has wisdom to share and stories to tell. Though this might go against Cindy’s parent’s wishes, June believes that it might be better if Cindy considered the guild, rather than just rushing into danger fool heartedly. Proper training and learning survival skills sound a lot better than thinking “blowing up the target to win” for just about every situation that pops up!

June invites Cindy to a small shopping district, to get to know the tomboy a bit better. Turns out Cindy CAN be very girly, but buries it under her tough guy act. Cindy just needs someone that she feels she can let her guard down around it would seem. We’ll leave it up to you to imagine what they bought to bond over, but this might be a good thing for Cindy. A positive role model where she can learn and open up too.
