Photos like this go to show how much patience pays off. This shot was made to be taken at the time of day you chose - the shadows cast across the ground definately make the piece stand out and add a wonderful touch to the final composition.
Once again I'm drawn to the contrast that you've set up in the photo - the colours are both earthy and compliment eachother, but the orange is very rich and warm compared to the duller colour of the fall wood.
You continue to amaze me with your creative skill - yet another gorgeous piece.

I remember I was quite lucky to get this shot. Most of the time it was overcast but when I was at this spot the sun had found a crack in the clouds and the light/shadows appeared. Thank you for comment and fav!

That scene has so unrealistic feeling that I would have thought it's a painting. Those trees has also so smooth touch which makes it even more painting_a_like.
