Er, his dad or the uncle? I'm leaning towards his uncle when I read the story but now I'm not so sure when I see this picture.

His Uncle Nathanial. His father's face is a bit rounder and not as long. Edgar and his uncle don't look alike outside of having long faces. The only feature Edgar got from his father was his eyes. He and his sister look more like their birth mother. You get to see her in Rapture.
