She's a beauty...and still growing????
What did she do with the crickets you gave to her???
Do Tarantulas like this use the digestive fluids thing or can she eat them on the spot???
Thanks for the great photo...and the quarter comparison!!!!!
Do you guys handle her????

yup she is still getting bigger...
the crikets I gave her well she took them out for coffee ... just kidding no she eats them all in one giant bite.. T's will chew apart larger prey and eat it whole, they do inject venom into larger prey but little things she just eats them like pop corn...
I try not to handle her although she is taming down ...younge T's are quite easyly aggitated and everything looks like food to her... and she is way way way to bg to hold in one hand lol so i will have to say no we don't handle her yet... I have a buddy that has one that is very tame "but that is rare for this spec"
heheh thanks amigo

actually, you are right. I guess I DO love spiders. Just at a comfortable distance.
Yesterday I was out looking for spiders to photograph with my new Nikon D80. If I hated spiders, I would not be walking up and down my fence line by my neighbor's pasture looking for them in spiderwebs.
I even got a shot of a wolf spider running through the grass, but it was such a hidden shot that I deleted it. They can hide in grass blades very well!
