Originally the pegasus was supposed to be Firefly but Hasbro couldn't get the patent on her name/design so they just made the pegasus Rainbow Dash, but she is Firefly's personality just in different colors. The original Rainbow Dash was an Earth pony who's personality is actually a lot more like G4 Rarity.
