1. She's no-nonsense, all ambition and adventure, all pluck and promise, eager to get her story

2. She qualifies as almost an antagonist to Clark Kent, but has a near irresistible attraction to Superman

3. She has a knack for chasing, starting and getting into trouble of all sorts, and doesn't really care what happens - devil may care attitude for her job, which lets her get that top story on the front page

4. She's VERY easy on the eyes

5. There has to be a simultaneous charming and annoying aspect to her character - she charms you with her pure charisma and pluck but also knows how to annoy with her pure ability to exasperate nearly everyone in existence with her ability to stay focused on getting her story!
