im gonna be posting each of my designs and thought process for this piece!

Byleth can be either male or female, so I decided to do both here since they have different body types. Male (left) is thicker and has slightly larger wings, while female (right) is skinnier and curvier. Both have nightwing builds with rainwing features. Byleth can change the color of their gray scales and turquoise sections of their wings and frills. The sea foam green color is always present. The crest is on both shoulders.
Female Byleth is showing the default colors that Byleth starts out with, and I wanted to use the beautiful turquoise color of their hair as the base. I used dark colors for the rest. Since Sothis is connected to Byleth, I wanted to show that subtlety by having their frills and wings show a little bit of sea foam green.
Male Byleth is showing their awakened form (when they and Sothis combine). I basically just made them green, and changed the wings and frills to be the more prominant hair color. They can still change the color of the light green scales and turquoise on the wings/frills.

In my piece I didn't want to draw both male and female versions, so I just made them androgynous.

You can use these designs if you want, no need to credit (since I don't technically own the character). Dimitri is next!
