Mermay, but with a unicorn!I tried something different with this one - did the lines in pen, splashed on a very loose and colorful underpainting over that, and then refined with opaque paint. I really enjoyed this process!

Really, really lovely. I love how shimmery they both look; you really captured the sequin-like look of fish scales! This process seems to really agree with your style, I love it! Somewhat reminds me of vintage storybook art.
