I picture Sev playing with a lily (its petal opening and closing, much like what kid Lily did the day the two met). He's suppose be looking angsty, so I'd say this is young Snape, maybe after their friendship fell apart?

I never thought I'd do a Harry Potter fanart- but here you go

~~Ramblings on thoughts about DH (spoilers ahead)~~~
Firstly: YES! I was right about the SnapeLily thing.
Secondly: Manipulative Dumbledore really, really gets me. In particular when he taunted Snape after revealing Lily's death -- that was beyond cruel. When the man was totally broken-- Dumbledore not only does not offer any comfort, but ranted on reminding Snape of Lily's eyes etc-- all to manipulate him into his 'for the greater good'. I mean, what is he? a communist? =_=
