My babies are in a 50L (13GAL??) tank... Gallons are weird........i don't know if that's the right conversion.....????vhjfjnvfjk

if you have two in the same take you should really look into getting a bigger tank closer to the 75L - 100L range axolotls get really long and need lots of walking space. Normally I've seen the rule be 1 per 20 gal (75L) and you add 10 gal (38L?) per axolotl. You can find even more stuff over on www.caudata.org/forum/f46-begi… it's a axolotl form!

oOH WOW 
I did heaps of research before i decided to get the axolotls but a lot of sources said that 34L was minimum for an adult axolotl and the pet store said that the 50L was fine for two adults. Hrm. But I guess that's like? A minimum measurement and not a preferred? That makes sense. I'll have to look into getting a larger tank as they grow! Thanks for linking me the forum! *^*

Yeah I did the same thing when I first got mine and saved up a ton for the tanks I have now. They should be okay for a few months tho!
