I love the iron red that some parts of Scotland have. Parts of Lauderdale and Berwickshire are the same. Nice that you were out on a cuddy too.

Like you I like it as well as it does provide good photographic opportunities in the right weather conditions. You can get some very good visual effects if you are in the right place at the right time.

I have lived in the country for twenty years now-and enjoyed every minute of it. In my youth though, I would not have appreciated it. It is truly beautiful. Every April the fields are full of red clover. Each season special.

One of my favourite pass times. Nice weather, out on the bike with camera, then just take any old road that comes along, amazing what you find when the conditions are right. But other days you find nothing at all, but that is the fun of it.

Saw the possibilities while riding by, turned round, then just waited for the shading to happen on the ground from the rolling clouds above.
I wanted a lighter foreground leading into a darker background to try and highlight the depth. Did not quite manage that so needed a couple of minor tweaks in PS.
