It is very pleasant indeed and is part of the lower walk around Pittencrief Park in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. The steeple in the background is Dunfermline Abbey.

In my opinion the frame provides focus and concentrates the mind to look at the picture rather than around it.
That is what I love about a site like this, individuals, like you, are free to comment and you do get different opinions or shades of opinion on the same subject matter. As long as the criticism is constructive and not destructive then the experience can be rewarding, educational and part of the learning process.

Yes maybe black but not white.
But I guess that if you make a print out of it and have it framed, it produces an artificial "marie-louise" weird that they call the white fabric border that you can get in a frame I guess.
