i was having a conversation with this guy at my table about the season three finale and he brought up a valid point...if it were as easy as fixing a spell to achieve alicornhood, what would have happened had trixie done something like that? would she have been knighted into celestia's kingdom as a princess?
granted there are other factors too but what gave twilight wings was the spell--it was the trigger, in other words. i don't know, just a thought
