YAAAY ITS COLORED!!!!!im super pleased with how it came out, ( it would look so much better on here if my scanner wasnt a piece of crap.... but oh well)

thank you, and you're right. In person the skin stands out alot more, but i use a pretty useless scanner which usually bleaches out most lighter colors. I'll try to change the saturation in photoshop, maybe that will help

....o.o....I don't think the reflection would be visible in the white of the eye. Or...at least, I just like it this way!!!
Superb shading! The colors are stunning...I was sure the iris was done with more than colored pencils!

well, as with most anime, its a little slow at the beginning but wants you get past that and any possible filler episodes its absolutly FANFREAINGTASTIC... as long as its in the original japanese audio with english subtitles and NOT, ABSOLUTLY NOT IN A THOUSAND YEARS the american dubbed piece of CRAP
then... as with most anime... its awesome sauce all the way
i recommend naruto, bleach, and deathnote as my top 3 favs

You already know how I feel about Death Note. 
Hm.....I'd definitely say Death Note is the best anime (and manga)!!!! Nothing can really compete with it. Lol....Though I do love Wolf's Rain, and enjoy FMA and Hellsing too!

oh yea, big no no, gotta be in japanese or it sucks (95% of the time) just because most english dubbers have no idea wat they are doing -_- and they screw the story line, and cut out the really violent parts

Well, I honestly didn't really have a major problem with English dubs until someone alerted me to the Death Note dubbed preview and I thought it was a SICK JOKE! *criez* Fortunately, the anime (Japanese!!!) follows the manga word for word! Though it does cut a few very minor scenes, and add two extra ones (they were fantastic)!

Well....once term ends then, I'll have to take some time to look into the Japanese version of Naruto!

It sure did seem like he knew he was going to die. That part, and the one near the beginning when Watari was speaking to him certainly seemed to imply that. *sigh* Yep...He knew he would die, it's all part of the awe-inspiring intellect of L....

Yeah...Last year was my first con and cosplay. This year is my first crossplay, lol. ^___^ I gave up on trying to find girl characters that I liked enough to cosplay. It is a rare thing indeed to find a decent female character who isn't completely idiotic or a slut (or both) or who doesn't wear a ridiculously difficult outfit...*sigh*...For example, who are your choices in DN? Naomi? Takada? Misa?! Please, no.
Last year I went as Blue from Wolf's Rain and Kanna from Inuyasha. xP Only...four people recognized me, and my kimono was too big (I...can't...sew...).

well yes, naruto has about 2 or 3, and a couple of potentials
i was thinking of doing someone from naruto, but its difficult to cosplay them well
might give it a shot.
the only thing is, i really dont like the idea of dying my hair, and wigs hardly ever do a cosplay justice
but to have a GREAT costume i guess id have to sacrifice a few things... lol
i guess could do integra cuz ive got long blonde hair (mines curly though so id have to straighten it)

Yes.....I have curly brown hair and dyed it black for Blue, and styled it, and...it was a very bad experienc x( I had darker hair for MUCH longer after the con than I had anticipated.
So, I just go for wigs now, lol. Obviously one for L, and I used a white wig for Kanna, too. As long as I carefully hunt down an acceptable one, wigs I think can work well because they can look more like the actual hair of the character.
Yeah, Integra would be fun! Her outfit wouldn't be too difficult either!

Aw, I'm sorry. Not that I can talk. I've only been to one con, lol. But it was fantastic. In fact, it was so great that I already have my badge, hotel reservations and cosplay ready for the next one in September. ^__^

One thing is, wouldn't the shapes be reflected in the whites of the eyes as well as just the iris? Just a thought.
Yeah, uh... Hope your toe gets better o.0;... Weird... but I can imagine it happening. My Dad once bent his little toe 90degrees outward after hitting a metal sofa.
