Like the Ryu sketch this is a VERY small sketch blown up to 16K. The line is pretty bad both from the inaccuracies of sketching something only a couple of inches tall and the process of photographing and transferring to digital. Scanner is still broken and I don't plan to buy another as I rarely use traditional for anything but study/practice.Unlike the Ryu sketch this is actually fairly recent, I think the ink was about two weeks ago and the colors the day before yesterday. Whereas the other is probably about a year old and the colors were done yesterday.
I feel like the portrait is pushing the exaggeration and cartoony look way too far. This really was just a quick sketch and has plenty of outfit inconsistencies, I just grab these things when I have ideas about colors and lighting that I want to try without having to take an hour or two to try them out.
