Description Penciled on standard copy paper. This was drawn while I was doing technical support. In fact, it was done while I was on the phone. Completely caffine inspired.

this & "mechanical love"show a very weird but creative mind!!...most entertaining...they would be interesting to see animated....[a la Andy Huang...only yours look like they would have much more fun!! I too,do doodles when I should be working...but mine aren't half this interesting..I shall now have something to aspire to?]

i love your contraption...and the little boy holding on to his lucky stick reminds me of an illustration in 'The Tall Book of Elves and Fairies'..Garth Williams is the artist and it is about a little boy who buys an all day sucker..granted it does not meet your story line..

Snigom In reply to Maurya2 [2007-03-18 23:07:07 +0000 UTC]

Thank you I tell you it was all born from bored, frustration, and caffine I think I started at the big head and went from there. The baby was one of the last major elements added. I later claimed that it was the next best thing in baby sitting

well, it has my attention span cornered.....
do you have any others like that?..especially like that baby..i am in love....must be that time ..you know..clock ticking and all that jazz....that is really a hot flash..not a blush..

Snigom In reply to Maurya2 [2007-03-19 00:52:53 +0000 UTC]

WEll...sadly...I haven't drawn many babies. I have done more doodles that contain babies doing wildy crazy things like practicing Kung Fu on Big huge giant monsters, but nothing really cute

Within the same time line as "Baby Sitter" I did "Mechanical Love" [link] Which has similar elements.

Just thinking the same thing actually

damn work, put last minute things on me *sigh* the most boring but most needed thing in the world: data entry.

Snigom In reply to classicknight [2007-02-05 16:26:50 +0000 UTC]

UGH! Data entry me no likie! THat is the worst part about doing web pages....all the coding and data entry

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

classicknight In reply to Snigom [2007-02-06 07:47:55 +0000 UTC]

Lol agreed XD Though I wasn't doing it for a web page, it was for work ^^ I'm a receptionist for a real estate business and i'm the only one patient enough to enter all the sales and prices and what not.

Lol yep, and I get paid double rates an hour for as long as it takes ... which unfortuantly is nearly around five hours since every one lets it pile up ..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Snigom In reply to classicknight [2007-02-07 00:07:12 +0000 UTC]

Wouldn't that be 'fortunately' since you will be getting the money?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

classicknight In reply to Snigom [2007-02-07 03:08:07 +0000 UTC]

yeah that part's great XD but I don't see the money until pay day so the five hours of complete boredom...are kinda more in your face at the time lol

I know the feeling. I used to do tech support and inbetween calls...or sometimes DURING the call...I could be found doodling. It's likely why my boss didn't like me much.

Thanks alot! My intention is usually to come up with the unexpected. THis is one of those drawings that developed as it was being drawn. i had no pre-concieved picture in my head. It was born in 'real-time' so-to-speak.
