Description Copic marker + Chemically blended colored pencil on bristol board 5 x 7.

This sold to a private collector from Animefest's Art Show. I originally intended this to be a simply flesh test. There were some techniques with the markers I wanted to try. It turned out to be more intricate than I had thought.

I forgot to ask how did you chemically blend the pencil?

The primary character, the vines and the swords are Copic Marker and ink. The background is done in colored pencil and then is chemically blended with a colorless blender.

Wow! Thanks! Even though I got a smear for her "knees" not being feminine enough Which its hard to tell people that I did it on purpose as fairies with weapons often need armor to match.

Fantastic colouring, I love the tints and shines.
However, you might want to work on your female knees. They aren't as square/blocky as you've drawn them here - they're more round and very subtle. And either her shoulders are a bit broad or her hips are a bit small - they're generally the same width~

great colors and details. line art is great the composition is pretty good, but the fairies body position is kind of boring in comparison to the rest.

man, i dunno whether i would have gone with red for the tattoos. looks a lot like blood.

i'm digging it though.

LOL!!! Actually, it was to cover up a massive mistake! Some green paint dripped onto her perfect skin and I tried to clean it. However, my efforts destroyed the paper. I tried to put just a heart tattoo and it look terrible. So to balance the design I went with red vines. Then I mirrored the design elsewhere to balance it out.
I think it worked well considering...
