Beauty + Darkness = Art.
Perhaps subjectively "the piece" could be interpreted as the subject's dark aura juxtaposed against her illuminated skin, bright red dress, & muted backdrop.
Is she sad? Why? The tar-like spattering suggests danger. Does it emanate from her or has something terrible occurred? Is she pining for a lost love?
Ultimately, I don't care.
It's a Bad-Ass Stencil.
