Description Here it is. This is all the stuff I've collected over the past year. Okay, not all the stuff. Books, comics, blindbag figures, Funko Figures, and Trading Cards are not shown (ran out of room). These are all the things I've collected that were handmade by amazing people who have more talent than I could ever dream. Below is a list of all the people that have work present, as well as my thoughts. There will be other pictures of individual areas of the collection in later (all this typing killed my wrists) so you can see things better. Sadly, I did not have enough room to back up completely, so you can't see everything clearly here.

Let's start at the top left, shall we?

A canvas print of Music is Magic by , signed by Tara Strong. I got it from e-bay during the charity for Kiki (rest in peace, sweetie). It had Vinyl and Octavia on it, so that's why I chose it. The first pony picture I ever got.

Perhaps the most visually impressive. This print--or should I say banner?--was made by . How many of you recognize it? She had a few up for sale a while ago and I jumped on it. I remember when I first saw it on EQD. To own something so amazing thrilled me beyond words. If she ever decides to put her season two one up, please let me know!

Those of you who are are on tumblr may recognize that picture of Spitfire, the pony everypony thinks is hot. It is by and she is, to me, Spitfire. Her blog is amazing (I wish she would come back though ) and her art style is great. You can purchase a copy over at her store.

Aw, but of course we have these two: Octavia and Vinyl. They were both made by . My two favorite background ponies. Vinyl was the first plushie I ever owned, and Octavia was the first commission I ever requested. Octavia is actually the reason I have a DA account at all.

Next row, left side again. Oh man. I saw those two pictures on DA and I wanted them so, so, soooo badly. When posted on ask Filly Twilight that she had a few prints left over and was willing to sell them, my dream came true. I tracked her down immediately. Still hoping that one day she'll have other prints for sale, but if not, I am more than happy that I got a chance to own these two.

That Vinyl and Octavia picture was a gift for my birthday. I told my friends I wanted it, and a fellow fan bought it for me. It as the second picture I owned, and it was made by

Gamer Luna baby! Oh yeah! Once again, 's talent comes through.

And again! This time featuring my two favorite background ponies. You simply cannot own a print of Vinyl and not own the matching print of Octavia. Why yes, the two plushies above spend long hours staring at those pictures...

Next row, left side. Plushie time baby! That Bon Bon was made by as a companion for Lyra. I found Lyra on e-bay (hey, if you're the one who made her, let me know! I can't find the owner on DA anymore!) and Lyra needs Bon Bon. Thus, Bon Bon was made.

That's Shadow Vinyl, as I call her. Purchased her off of e-bay and made her origin story as that of a Shadow Clone of the original Vinyl plushie. Still looking for an Octavia companion for her.

Why yes that is Aloe Vera, and if you look to the right, past Minuette, you will see Lotus Blossom. Both made by . I won them off of e-bay, and was floored when I found out I won. To this day I believe I got lucky because not too many people were familiar with his work yet. That has since changed. Congratulations.

No, I'm not forgetting Minuette (Colgate)! She was made by . She appeared on e-bay and I needed her. Yes, I physically needed her. What? Stop looking at me like that! She's very cuddly. The scarf she's wearing (you can't see it too well here) was handmade as well, and has Lotus and Aloe's cutie marks on it. Go check out Minuette's Hearth's Warming Gift to find out more.

Queen Chyrsalis and Luna I got from e-bay. Chyrsalis was a free gift with Luna.

Rainbow Dash was a birthday present from a girl I work with. She says I have a problem with ponies, but she has no problem feeding my problem. She went to Build-a-Bear and made her for me.

Yes, those are the Derpy and Breakdancing Vinyl figures from Welovefine. I just like them a lot, so I included them here.

Next row, left. That small picture of Lyra and Bon Bon there (hiding behind the Octavia picture) was a free gift from for ordering the above prints. Lyra and Bon Bon on the beach is just so cute.

The Lyra and Bon Bon picture, as well as the Luna picture next to it, were made by . I bought them when she opened her store back up for a while because I thought they were cute.

Yes, that is a human Luna figure on the couch there, the same one from my avatar picture.

Wet mane Vinyl and Octavia in socks were both made by . I bought Octavia, and when Vinyl showed up, I knew I needed her too.

That is a custom sculpt of Spitfire in her Academy uniform. Made by . Spitfire sure looks spiffy in her outfit, huh?

Oh! Oh oh oh! The 'Smile' picture by ! She had a few of these for sale at a con, and I asked her what about those of us who wouldn't be able to attend. Apparently this was her answer. I love it, and it's right above my bed when I sleep.

also made the picture of the Background Six right next to 'Smile.' Since it had Lyra, Bon Bon, Octavia, and Vinyl, I had to have it too.

Left to right: Aloe, Lotus, Vera, Octavia, Vinyl, Spitfire, Soarin, Trixie (with socks) and Princess Twilight (with socks). All made by . I don't know what it is about her crafts, but I can't get enough of them. I doubt these will be the last ones I own.

On the end there is Derpy, by . She showed up right when Twilight in socks did, and I thought it'd be funny to have Derpy too.

Ah, 's piece. Don't be jealous. That is a human version of Minuette. I saw it on DA first and thought it was pretty cool. My jaw hit the floor when it showed up on e-bay because no one bought it at the con. Well she's mine now and I love her! If she ever makes a Lyra, Bon Bon, Vinyl, Octavia, or any others, I'll be waiting.

Final row, finally. The best picture of Octavia. Hands down, hoofs down, end of discussion. Made by . There's a matching print I commissioned her for, but DA is apparently following rules that they forgot about when they sent me Octavia. Still, a plan is in the works...that's why I needed your e-mail, llacky. I refuse to steal artwork, and as soon as it shows up, I'll let you know. I promise.

Twilight vs. Trixie. Made by and given as a gift when I bought the banner (Thank you again!). Who didn't love that episode? No, seriously, who didn't? I don't think it's possible to not love that episode.

Fluttershy being a model again without even trying. Again, made by and given as a gift.

Avast me hearties! That be Captain Pirate Rainbow Dash with Bookworm! I'm sure you all know 's work, right? He was selling a few of his prints a while back and this one caught my eye. Break out the cider! Yar-har...or, whatever.

Finally, Vinyl Shark and Octavapuss. These were both made by who I work with. She offered to make them for me because she's awesome like that and likes the fact that I like MLP.

So that's it. These are all the hand-crafted items I have acquired (minus a few charms and buttons that were just too small to include, but all made by ) over the past year. My parents think I have a problem. And I have to agree. I have run out of room to hang/display some of these things, and it's killing me. Another problem I have is that I need a better job so I can afford this stuff easier. :-P (Somehow, I don't think either of those are the problem my parents were talking about...)
I have my eye on a few more things for this year--and actually just commissioned another pony today who shall remain a secret until she arrives--and plan to take another picture at the end of the year displaying the collection again. Assuming I don't drown in pony stuff, that is.

So, what do you think? Leave a comment, if you'd be so kind. Also, if you see your work here and I didn't credit you, let me know. I'll fix that right away.  Do you think I should submit this to EQD? None of it is my work, and I don't know what they would put it under, but I am curious. Thoughts?

Well, it depends. Do you mean a specific poster, like one of the ones in my picture? Because if that is the case, I fear you are out of luck. The vast majority of the people who made these posters have retired from the fandom. Plus, a lot of the prints were limited runs, or left over stock from some of these people going to cons.
That big banner in the middle? She only offered that for sale for a limited time, and she only printed the total number of people who preordered it.

So, like I said, if you're hoping for one of these particular prints or posters, I'm afraid that's going to be impossible. I listed all of these people in the picture, so you can track them down on DeviantART and ask them, but odds are they will all say no.
However, if you are just looking for a poster or a print in general, then I suggest either Storenvy.com or Etsy.com. Both of those websites have plenty of pony art for sale. Sometimes stuff even shows up on ebay.
Another thing to do--and this is how I managed to get a hold of a lot of my stuff--is check out some ask blogs. A lot of the times, with conventions coming up, these people will say they are heading there. Ask them if they have any plans for selling leftover stock. Most of the time they will be open to the idea.
Hope that all helps.

Very beautiful collections, it's good you put em in frames.

The spitfire, Octavia and DJ P0N-3 are my most favorites. Great plushies!

My, that's quite the collection!  I love that Spitfire print.

I've actually found myself wondering what your parents must think of all the pony madness going on under their roof.  If you don't mind me asking, do they think it's strange, or do they sort've understand the brony phenomenon and what it's all about?  You don't have to answer if you don't want to, I'm just curious.

My dad doesn't seem to care too much. Probably because he's never really seen how much stuff I have actually. My mom though, I think it embarrasses her a bit, or she thinks it's weird. When she sees me come home with say, I new pack of cards or a box or figures, so goes, "Are those for you?" in that tone of voice.
I bought that Derpy card tin a while back and she saw it. "A lunchbox now? Really?" I told her it wasn't a lunchbox, it was for the cards. She's not familiar with the whole idea of Brony, so I try to keep stuff quiet around her.

Huh, now that surprises me a bit--usually it's the father who has the bigger problem with it; at least, that's how it's been in my family.  Anytime I've ever mentioned ponies around my dad, he always gets real quiet (which is unusual for him), or he changes the subject.  I strongly suspect that he thinks I'm gay and he just doesn't want to say it.  Of course, we've never been that close, so I really wouldn't expect him to understand anyway.  Live and let live, I suppose.

My mom and grandma, on the other hoof, are both very supportive, and I'm not afraid to discuss anything pony related with either of them.  They thought I was strange at first (which I fully expected), but it wasn't until I came back from my first pony convention, and showed them pictures of all the people and happenings that occurred there, that they really grasped the full magnitude of what the brony fanbase is like.  They were already on my side before then, but I guess they learned to appreciate it a lot more after that.

The only time my grandma has balked was back when the official comics first debuted.  I had mentally resolved to acquire every single cover for the first issue, and there for a while I was literally receiving three or four packages a day, all with comic books from different places.  Whenever new ones arrived, she would say, "More comics?" in that same tone of voice you mentioned.  She didn't have a problem with the comics themselves, just the amount of money that she knew I had to be spending on them.  I never had the guts to tell her how much that micro-print Fluttershy/Rainbow Dash sketch variant cost.

Have you maybe tried showing your mom what the brony community is all about and why people are so in love with the show and why it's so appealing?  Speaking from experience, she may be able to gain a greater appreciation for your own involvement in it if she can experience some of it for herself firsthand.

My dad I think just doesn't understand so he doesn't really care. I still work, I still pay bills, and I still do all my other stuff so he's not worried about me, or rather, he worries about me in his own way and just doesn't talk about it. When, like you, I was getting several packages a week in the mail (back when the collection was just getting started and I was playing catch up), he was concerned slightly because of all the money he thought I was spending. And now that I think about it, I don't think he's ever actually seen me open one of my pony items in front of him. I always take them to the back and open them back there because I don't want the eye rolling or the sighs.

My mom is different. She's worried about me because, no matter what I show her, she'll never get it. It's not just the ponies and the fact that it's a show for little girls that concerns her (I was, and still am, a Sailor Moon fan as well as a Power Puff Girls fan so she knows I watch those shows for little girls), but the fact that I dive so far into it. To her, it seems like a waste of time and something an adult should not be spending so much time on. She's worried I won't do anything with my life I think. If you've seen my picture of Lyra's Human Statue collection, you see that I don't just collect ponies. I collect a lot of stuff, to the point where I literally have no room left in my room, and she worries about that. She doesn't want me to end up like my Uncle, who had great talent and a good job, but never really did anything with it, and is now jobless and is kind of a man child.
Honestly, I have no intention of ending up like that, but I understand why she's worrying. This year though I'm going to get a better job and move out so they won't have to be so concerned about me anymore.

I'm jealous. That... glorious... banner... the collection itself is impressive, but that banner takes cake.

Yeah, the only downside to it is that the thing is huge. I have to have it hanging behind my door because that's the only place that it will fit.

At least then, you have a masterpiece to look at whenever you shut your door.
