Thanks to Lumen-Melano here [link] i can now present to you the solution to the MS Office bug some people encountered. Here's what Lumen-Melano wrote:
Right click anywhere on the desktop and click personalise.
Make sure you have selected one of the Static themes as your current theme.
Click on "Window Color" at the buttom of the window.
Then click "Advanced appearance settings".
Then on the new window find 3D Objects in the dropdown menu under "Item:"
Then just make sure that both "Color 1" and "Color" are white.
Click OK and Save Changes and you should be done.

I read that u have upgraded to win 8 and no longer support this skin. But I have to ask!
The green "info bar" in explorer is way to distracting. Would rather have a light grey color. Is this hard to change? I'm using the static polished theme.

Can you tell me the importance of changing the ExplorerFrame.dll? And I think there's something wrong with the scrollbar. If the size of the scrollbar exceeds 11, the theme desplays the classic scrollbar along with the theme's scrollbar.

the explorerframe is responsible for the back and forward buttons in the explorer windows. You will have to change your windows settings to 100% that should do the trick. I am not supporting this theme anymore since i'm using windows 8 now.

I installed the theme using the installer and everything went smoothly, but I don't know how to switch the theme to Static Polished. Right now, it's just using the Static regular theme. I don't know where it installed anything except in the resources/themes folder, which I don't know how to do anything with. Any help would be appreciated.

loved it, but I just am not the kind of person that can stand super contrasty colors in such a large dose. I'd love to see a simpler version of this with small accents of color. But anyway, I loved the big close/min/ect buttons, the opacity of the window frames and the overall clean metro feel.

I love this theme apart from the ok (normal button in the screenshot above) button colours, the cancel one is a lovely blue, the ok button is some sort of nasty gradient.
It looks as though the button colours can be changed from the screenshots. Is this possible?

Yes, but you will need ave's style builder to chane image files. And photoshop/gimp of course...
