Ironic that Nolan North, Martin Walker's VA is also the craziest chimichanga eating degenerate alive killing people in humorous ways...

Whatever happens now, don't be too hard on yourself. Even now, after all you've done.
You can still go home.
Lucky you.

I shall not lie...this game made me cry. It is the most gripping storyline I've ever seen in a military themed game. And I'm disappointed there isn't enough fan art and attention going towards the game. But this was a a good picture. It looks just like the loading screen after the...event.

So... what did you decide to do with Walker at the end?

I went through all of the other endings myself. And the one I choose for Walker now is him dying from the rescue teams gunfire.
I mean, Walker may have been the player character, but after the shit he's done, from burning civilians alive, helping the CIA kill everyone and just generally going insane, I wondered if a man like him deserves anything remotely like a 'good' ending. Maybe he really does deserve to die.

I wondered the same thing, I gotta admit. I do love how the game uses Walker. With him being the PC you can't help but get attached to him, because from the start he seems like a decent guy. Then as you go on and when you get to the end and realize the whole source of misery is the guy you've grown to really like is so evil it's genius.
The funny thing is, by getting the 'good' ending for him and living and seemingly getting away with it, could also conversely be the biggest punishment of all for Walker, meaning that he has to live with that he did rather than taking the easy way out.
I love that this game inspires this kind of discussion.

I once read one of the interviews with the game's creators. In it one of the writers observed that in all games, players are essentially preconditioned to trust the player character no matter what. No matter what Goodguy McHero says or does he is always in the right, while the bad guys are bad guys and his commanding officer is a moron.
So what do you do when Goodguy McHero turns out to be a delusional liar and a psychotic?

A brilliant idea executed magnificently. The more I hear about this game, the more I love it.

Also, I heard that one of the possible interpretations is that Walker didn't survived the helicopter's crash in the prologue.

Oh, you should. IT is such an epic game. There are, however, a few issues with the controls/a glitch or two, but the story's so good, I didn't mind whatsoever.

I really like the way you did this. The sketches are nice of his face creating the shock, but the pyre of a background gives it a real sense of danger. The drop filter is a nice touch also. Mahvelous dahling.
