I love this. I'm surprised no one pulled any "oh Mark Borthwick" comments out of their asses. I'm fond of the softer elements set amidst the more precise and geometric frame of a train/metro/etc. Even the graffiti on the walls look good this way, and that light leak seals the deal. I saw that someone asked whether it was real or not - to me it's pretty sad that we live in a world now where people have to wonder whether images are real or not, have been enhanced, etc. We have to question if we are being shown a simulation or a real thing. Personally, I can tell a fake light leak or sunflare instantly, and a real light leak is unmistakable. What I love about film and work by people who work with it, one being you, is that an image is enriched by the photographer's mere vision and aptitude for lighting and compositional elements, as well as by those happy accidents like light leaks and whatnot that we film freaks appreciate so much, and not copious post-production editing later. The initial and original image is not and needs not to be tainted by the addition of simulated elements, of contrived looks and styles that were never there in the first place, and the original stands on its own as a testament to the photographer's innovation and talent. (So kudos.)

the light always seeks to play with the beauty in the frame -- like the result -- later days
