This is my art trade for ~BlueIllusions . This is her character Asrai. I hope i got everything right... I'm deffiantly not completely satisfied with her "mist wings" but i'm not exactly sure how else to portray it. But here you are blue! Enjoy! Below is a complete description I was given to work on.

Regular Form- 2 wavy lines beneath each eye which have the appearance of water. Wispy, mist-like wings tipped in blue.

Water/Light Form- 2 wavy lines beneath each eye in navy blue. (think Aquarius symbol). No wings. Entire body seeming to be formed of water (completely see through, no visible organs, etc) Eyes outlined in black.

Height; 14 hh

Personality
General; Stubborn, in that she will stand up for her beliefs if challenged, but attempts to avoid confrontation at all costs; a little bit sad (as she deeply misses the faeries); able to see the beauty in all aspects of life; does not believe in the necessity of love, but instead feels her life is fulfilling without it.

She was named for a faerie.

Asrai are, quote and unquote, "small, fragile, female beings who turn to a puddle of water when they are captured or exposed to sunlight." The word fragile is definitely suited to my Asrai, and she could be considered much akin to her namesake. She was a strange one, my Asrai, and she moved with a grace that was becoming more and more common amidsts the equine species these days. Her steps were light and flowing, as though she floated rather than walked, and oftentimes she was not exactly set completely upon the earth. Having wings contributed to that appearance, and she would not be one to deny that she used them to the best of her ability; when they were present, that is.

When she walked in shadow, Asrai could be considered nearly normal. Rather simple in appearance, a white horse with blue markings, unless one looked closer. For those blue markings just beneath each eye, the ones that resembled the symbol for Aquarius, were not only blue. They were transparent, as if one were looking in the depths of the sea. In that manner they matched her eyes, which were just as deep and just as blue. Enchanting eyes, you might say. The rest of her was white, including her wings, though her wings were hardly normal either. They were not feathery, not demonic, or anything else you might normally see. They were, if one word best described them, wispy. Much as though they were formed only of mist, or fog, or some other ethereal substance. Despite this they suited her fine, and Asrai was rather fond of them.

Now, that was only her appearance in shadow. In the sunlight, well, she was completely different. While Asrai did not melt away in to a puddle of water, she definitly changed. In fact, when the suns rays hit she seemed to made completely of water, though continued to retain the normal shape of an equine. It was rather unnerving to see, for she became rather translucent when she adapted this water form, and her wings would melt away and mold to her body. Her featuers were distinguished only by darker lines and shadow, and the markings below her eyes became mere black outlines. Yes, it was nerving, and yet all at once, stunning.
