Curiously enough I am not a hiker! It's not that I don't like hiking, it is just that I very rarely go for a walk for the sake of walking.
I am always going somewhere, I guess I am goal orientated, I do understand that the journey is the most important thing. But I
am unable to appreciate a journey for what it is until long after. Arrival, the disappointment it entails and a desperate need to find
another somewhere to be cast long shadows across my journey...
