Just a fun little piece for me to do of the dogs sledding, this is for the sledding RNG by #Canine-Events . I'd been avoiding sledding for a while simply because to color all the dogs can get a bit time consuming, but since this was an RNG I decided to go ahead and enter.
We have a new member of the team as you can see! Edison is now of age to be on the time! So Skazka is now up front with Lyuba being prepared for the duties of lead dog. And now Edison is a team dog learning the ropes alongside Niva! I'll be adding a minor story, even though it's not necessarily required but just for my own fun.

Canine Event's RNG Show! - Week 1The Canine Events group has decided to host its very own RNG event each week!
This event ends on Saturday, June 8th.
The event held this week is: Sledding!
The event will take place in the Pyrenees mountains of Spain. RULES:
~Each team will have their own number, so a team of 8 gets the same chance as a team of 2.
~You can draw a fullbody, but only a headshot is needed
~A visible harness is required (only some visible if it is a headshot)
~No background required
~Minimum requirement is 1 dog, and maximum is a team of 12 dogs.
~Any breed may participate, but only breeds that can pull a sled (that means no Chihuahuas!)4

Story:
After their brief time in Sweden, the Hallywell's did make one last stop before heading out to Ireland for a brief visit with family. The stop required that the rest of the crew of Samoyeds be shipped to Spain for a sled race and because of that those dogs were awaiting their arrival at the airport.

Procuring a transportation for that was a bit difficult, but a fellow musher in the area assisted them with that.

"Are you sure you will be OK?", Kane lightly asked his wife.

"One hundred percent. Lyuba and Skazka are both the best lead dogs anyone could have and if there's trouble they will sort us through it.", Renée replied.

"Well, so long as you have faith in them I suppose I should as well. Afterall, you know your dogs."

"Of course, it's no different then knowing your horse and you should know that."

Kane smiled, but still had concern for his wife fighting the elements in the mountains of Spain. She'd mushed everywhere just about and then some. But no matter how many times she did it still ruffled him a little. "Well, just be careful. OK?"

"I promise."

"Good. Hey, speaking of dogs, when are you going to have a dog which I can do fun stuff with? You know..something of my own?", he chimed in.

His wife laughed, "I don't know. It's hard to fit a dog to your personality. Need something that's hot headed and stubborn, maybe even with red hair like yourself."

Kane furrowed his eyebrows, "Are you saying I'm a pain, love?".

"OH NO, of course not...", she replied with a simple smile and went to get the dogs prepared for the day.
