Description
I never got the chance to show his final form at Spook Chateau since he didn't reach the final round, so I decided to make a pretty drawing to show his true beauty.

Yet this is still something in between of his final form/s.
As always I ended up making my art a bit more surrealistic, so at this point his one arm is "normal" and the other is a wing. In reality he has both arms normal and two wings at his back.

Since I took him out of the use for spook chateau I'm giving him more shape-shifting abilities in between his forms, just for the sake of drawing him in more creative ways.
As about his design. He was planned to end up like this because I wanted to avoid the typical plague-doctor-raven-beast full of fluffy feathers shit.

My Plague Doctor is grotesque, because this is what the plague stands for, rotten and sick flesh, along with desperate hands which wave around for help. Those hands have a double meaning. They represent the unlucky souls who lost their life due to the “black death” years ago and also represent the victims which Doc himself have killed during his massacre sprees.

I don’t think the rest of the design needs any explanation. We have guts and muscles, bones and black goo that merge around joints and flesh. Of course his “normal” hands (not the wings) are supposed to remind bird legs as well.

So to sum up we have a plagued feathered monstrosity whose only purpose is to bring death in any way….
